2012 Canada Day Bed Race

The Canada Day Bed Race is a partnership between two great charities; Campbell River Daybreak Rotary and the Campbell River Hospital Foundation.  The purpose is simple, to raise money while participating in a community-building event that brings together individuals, groups and businesses for a day of racing custom decorated beds down a 150m course on Shoppers Row.  Each team is made up of four runners and one rider who must stay on the bed during the race.

The First Annual Canada Day Bed Race was a tremendous success raising over $11,000 for the Campbell River Daybreak Rotary Club and Hospital Foundation!  A big thanks to all of our teams; you are all winners!
